Suncoast Oktoberfest

The Suncoast Oktoberfest sponsored by Geier’s Sausage Kitchen is being held at the Westfield Sarasota Square Mall South JC Penney lot located at 8201 S Tamiami Trail, Sarasota, FL 34238. The Fest will run from 11 am to 8 pm for 3 days starting Friday September 29 – Sunday, October 1^st, 2017.

With the traditional Opening Keg Tapping Ceremony at 11 am Friday September 29^th.

The Fest will be held under the big tent and feature authentic German Food, Beer, and Liquor, Live German Music, Games, Contests, a merchant vendor area and more. This fest is the perfect opportunity to experience a little bit of Germany right here in Sarasota.

We have secured 3 wonderful German Bands for the event. Sepp Diepolder “One Man Show Band”, AlpinDoc and Hafenkapelle. All the bands will be wearing their authentic German Oktoberfest Clothing.

Come dressed to impress in your Dirndl or Lederhosen for a free gift, participate in the Chicken Dance and Compete in the stein hoisting competition.

We are anticipating 7000 attendees over the 3 day. This is a rain or shine event.

You must be 21 years or older to drink alcoholic beverages at the event. Attendees will be required to show valid photo I.D. at all stations selling alcohol.

We will have a large air-conditioned tent and seating provided however dress comfortably. It will still be warm.

There will be food and beverage options available for purchase at the event. No coolers please.

Dogs are allowed at the event on a leash but please bring your own supply of water, we will not be providing any watering stations. We do request you bring Doggie waste bags should accidents happen.
